Ρυθμίσεις Pegasus

Your domain name MUST be active before your Email service will work. If your website comes up in the browser, then your Email service will work as well. You can download a Pegasus for free from the internet.

  1. Open your Pegasus Email program.
  2. Go to "File" and click on "Network configuration"



  3. This will open the "Internet Mail Options" and it will default with the "General" tab. Enter the email address you would like to use under "General settings". This can be webmaster@yourdomain.com, john@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com, etc...



  4. Then click on the "Receiving (POP3)" tab. Under "Receiving (POP3)" is where you put your login so Pegasus can check your mail. Under "POP3 host", you need to put "mail.yourdomain.com" (replace yourdomain.com with your real domain name). Then enter your username and password (you can get this from your Account Setup letter). Also, check mark the box that says "Delete mail from host once successfully retrieved".




  5. Then click on the "Sending (SMTP)" tab and put "mail.yourdomain.com" for the SMTP host. Under "Authentication" towards the bottom, check mark where it says "Login using my POP3 settings for username and password". Then click "OK" and you're all done.



  6. You can check and send mail with Pegasus by click the globe with red and blue arrow.
